EP H&P is dedicated to transforming traditional lignite energy businesses into energy solutions with lower carbon footprint that support the broader energy transition. As part of this commitment, EP H&P will continue decarbonization efforts initiated by EPIF. EP H&P aims to phase out lignite by 2030 through the construction of a balanced mix of Combined Cycle Gas Turbines (CCGTs) and waste-to-energy plants, complemented by existing biomass units.
